COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The all volunteer Cockburn Toy Library Committee is made up of members with diverse skills and interests. Committee meetings are held approximately 8 times a year, usually at the premises on a Saturday morning. Meetings usually run for about 1 hour.

 

Each Committee member will be given a copy of Toy Library Manual so that they can familiarise themselves with the operations of the Toy Library. There will also be additional occasions when the Committee is required to assist, for example:

 

  • During stock-take

  • Toy Library community events

  • Assisting with promotional activities.

Renae Barker

Renae has grown up with toy libraries in her blood, her parents were instrumental in the running of Bridgetown Toy Library in the 90s. She is passionate about the important role of play in the lives of young children. She has two boys aged 4 and 6 who both consider the toy library their second home.
