The Toy Scoop - APRIL

Good morning members,

We hope everyone is prepared for school holidays, we sure are - with lots of toys in the library just itching to be loaned 😃

Read on for some exciting new updates on what is coming up at Cooby & Atwell.

Opening Hours

A reminder that we are always closed for public holiday long weekends. This means that there are no sessions on:

Saturday 16 April 2022 - CLOSED Saturday 23 April 2022 - CLOSED

Please do not attend either branch as no-one will be there! All toy loans due back will be extended to 30/04/2022.

We are excited to be able to launch a weekday session at Atwell!

Beginning Wednesday 4 May 2022 Atwell will be open from 9:30 - 11:30am. This now means 2 sessions across the week at either branch.

Stay & Play - 20 April 2022

School holiday fun has arrived at Atwell! On 20 April we will be hosting a construction themed stay & play from 9:30am.

Bring your kids along to play while you relax and have a cuppa.

It is a free event but we ask that you please register here so we can ensure we stay COVID-safe.

Reshuffle of Cooby

You may have noticed a new room at our Coolbellup branch recently.

We are working on making our space more inviting and uncluttered, so please bear with us as we move things around.

Toy Librarian

We are delighted to announce that we now have a regular Toy Librarian employed at Cockburn Toy Library.

You will recognise Marissa, a regular face at the toy library running most of our sessions alongside committee members.

This should give you (as members) more consistency and comfort for when you visit and volunteer with us.

Mother's Day Photo Sessions - 23 April 2022

A great opportunity to make up for all those pictures mum is never in!

Book in for one of the limited photo sessions Kuehs Photography is shooting at our Coolbellup branch from 9:00am and then our Atwell branch from 1:30pm.

New Toys

You wanted more musical toys - so we got them! Check out M41 Star Guitar and M43 Animal Music Makers. For brave parents and kids who like to get messy, we have added a few sensory kits to our collection. Let your little one be the doctor with the new T43 Happyland Ambulance or for the budding make up artists R60 Wooden Vanity might be more their style.

Yours in Play,

Cockburn Toy Library Committee
