Thank you for coming to the AGM
Thank you to all our member families who came to our event at Atwell on 26 November. It was a fantastic community day with lots of fun and great food. A big thank you also to Josh Wilson MP for coming along to launch our new multilingual toys, Octoplay logo and visual Terms & Conditions. You can find our new Terms & Conditions linked HERE. Printed copies are also available to look at when you next visit the toy library.
The Terms & Conditions were produced in association with Comic Book Contracts at the University of Western Australia. Please help us with research into visual contracts by completing a short survey about our new Terms & Conditions by clicking on the button below.
Could you be our next Treasurer?
Do you have some experience in Finance, Accounting, Grants, HR or Payroll? Cockburn Toy Library are looking for people to join our finance and grants team in 2023. We are hoping to put together a group of 2-4 people in the roles of Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, HR / Payroll and Grants Officer to manage the financial side of the toy library. Don’t have a background in finance but know someone who does? These roles would suit someone who is retired or semi-retired as well as students studying finance and accounting. We can shape their role to suit their skills, interests and experience.
Do you know an accountant or accounting firm who could take on some of Cockburn Toy Library’s bookkeeping on a pro-bono basis? Please feel free to share this volunteering opportunity with your family and friends or refer them to our volunteer ad on SEEK. Want to find out more? Summer Holiday Closure
Please note that both branches will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period.
The last borrowing sessions for 2022 will be:
Tuesday 20th December (Coolbellup)
Wednesday 21st December (Atwell)
Both branches will reopen again in the new year on Saturday 7th January. Any toys out on loan during the shut down period will be extended to cover this period.
Volunteer Duties
Volunteer rosters for December and January are available NOW - school holidays are some of the easiest times to get your rosters out of the way! December at Cooby is almost full, but spots at Atwell are available. Please only nominate for slots that are grey or blue - green slots have enough volunteers and red means there are too many!!
