Brand New Cooby

For the members who have not yet been to visit our new digs at 30 Mopsa Way, here are a few pictures from our grand opening in January. We are settling into the space and still finalising our plans for the configuration & outside space.

Closed Saturday 2 March 2024 for Labour Day

A reminder that Cockburn Toy Library is always closed over long weekends.

Please do not visit us on Saturday 2 March 2024 as both branches will be closed.

Any toys due back that day will be extended to the following week.

Chocolates Fundraiser

We’re about to kick off a fundraising drive to raise money for our running costs of the toy library.

It would be great if you could roll up your sleeves and help! The good news is that this fundraiser is super simple… and delicious! Every box of chocolates we sell will raise at least $20 for our association. So we’re asking you as a member, could you sell one box for us? If you think you can, please let us know either by email or by mentioning it next time you are in branch. The boxes will be ordered and distributed in late March, with the intention of collecting funds in May - giving you 6 weeks to sell your box of treats.

Active Member Roster Duties

Do you still have outstanding duty to complete for your membership? March & April dates are now up.

Visit the SeTLS database to nominate a day that works for you on the calendar roster.

Make sure you are nominating as a Member Volunteer, and please only select roster slots which are Blue or Grey.

Rosters in Green are good to go and Red rosters mean we are overstaffed!!

Marissa at Cooby & Nathan at Atwell are so grateful for members help to run our sessions - we really couldn't do it without you! 

Atwell Toy Swap

 Each year, nearly 27,000,000 toys are thrown away by Australians. 

Let's try to reduce these alarming numbers.....

Join us on Saturday 23 March at the Atwell branch for our Community Toy Swap, in conjunction with City of Cockburn. Bring along toys in "good & playable" condition that your kids don’t use anymore and exchange them for toys they will love. Bring whatever you have and take whatever you like, and best of all, it’s FREE!
