Labour Day Long Weekend

Even though the public holiday is Monday March 2nd, the long weekend falls on the last weekend of February.

Please note that the toy library will be closed on Saturday 28th of February as a result of this. Both branches will be closed, so no visits on those days, please!

But don't worry, you can still swing by during the week on Tuesday or Wednesday for all your toy-borrowing needs. And here's some good news – all toy loans will be extended to cover the closure days. Enjoy the break and happy playing!

Containers for Change Update

Thanks to all our members who are contributing to Cockburn Toy Library by bringing your containers to our Coolbellup branch.

We will also honour your donation by adding 1 week to your membership period!!

If bringing them to us is tricky, you can always use our member number to donate on our behalf when you're at the drop off point.

Please remember to check that the containers you are donating are accepted by looking for the 10c mark on the labels.

We are aiming to use CfC funds to buy outdoor play toys!

Toy Care Tips

Please treat all borrowed toys — and their packaging — with care so they can be enjoyed by many families. Where possible, remove toys from their packaging and store it safely until return time. Outdoor toys should be kept under cover overnight and protected from sun, rain, and sprinklers. Toys are for home use only and should not be taken to other locations.

Before returning toys, please gently wipe them clean. Fabric items such as cloth bags and costumes must be gently washed prior to return. If pieces are missing before return, please renew the toy and continue looking for them. If anything becomes damaged or is permanently lost, please let us know when returning the toy — we appreciate your honesty and transparency. All items must be returned with their bag or container in the best condition possible.
