New Financial Year, New Membership Fees

A reminder that there is a slight increase to membership fees starting from 1 July 2023. Reach out to us now if you would like to renew your membership ahead of time and save a few dollars going into the new financial year!

A breakdown of the new fees can be found below:

To coincide with this, we would like to introduce a new type of membership, Active Plus! This membership is for families who have the ability to commit some more time to the toy library, but don't necessarily want to be on the committee. It is the most cost effective membership type, at $45.00 for 12 months of membership, in turn you would complete 10 roster duties over the course of the year.

Taking good care of toys.....

When you borrow items, please reach out if you notice a toy is incomplete!

Our toys are for all families in the community to use, and so we ask that you care for them well in your home so that they can last for years to come.

Please ensure your children are supervised when playing, and let us know as soon as possible if a toy becomes broken.

In the interest of our children and the presentation of our toys, members are requested to clean toys before returning to the library

If a piece is missing or permanently broken the Committee may request that you replace the item, or pay for the cost of a replacement.

Join us in July!

There will be some famous volunteers at both branches this month!

We are having local members of parliament join us in July as guest Toy Librarians. Their role will be to help out with the tasks while getting to meet with members of the local community.

A great opportunity for all of us to get to know them better, and also to express what's important to families!

Active Member Rosters for August

Do you still have outstanding rosters to complete for your membership?

We have a few dates in July available but August is wide open! Visit the SeTLS database to nominate.

Make sure you are nominating as a Member Volunteer, and please only select roster slots which are Blue or Grey as Green rosters are good to go and Red rosters mean we are overstaffed!!

Marissa at Cooby & Nathan at Atwell are so grateful for members help to run our sessions - we really couldn't do it without you!
