2024 Annual General Meeting

We held our AGM on Saturday 5th October, and we would have loved to see more of you there. This event is our way to connect committee and members, and lets us update you on the goings on of the toy library.

A big thank you to the committee for all their hard work in organizing the AGM and for their efforts throughout the last 12 months.

 We have many exciting projects planned for the next 12 months, but we need willing hands to make them happen. If you can help, please get in touch!

Cockburn Toy Library is a member-based community organization, and without the support of our members, we simply cannot operate. Following the AGM, we are looking to fill key committee roles.

Join the Committee

Without our dedicated committee and executive team, the Cockburn Toy Library can’t run as smoothly as we’d like. Have you noticed it can sometimes take a little longer to get your emails answered, or that we occasionally don’t have enough volunteers to open a session? This is because we need key roles filled to keep the library running efficiently. Could this be you, or do you know someone—whether it's grandparents, cousins, or friends—who might be interested in helping out?

Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to meet new people, give back to the community, and enhance your skill set. If you're interested, we'd love to hear from you!

Secretary: Organise meetings, assist the President, and ensure we meet compliance requirements.

Member & Roster Coordinator:

Manage volunteers and the roster, ensuring we have enough coverage to keep the library open. This includes both member and community volunteers.

Events Coordinator:  Plan fun events like toy swaps and stay-and-play days to engage our community.

Diversity & Inclusion Officer: Ensures that the Toy Library remains inclusive and accessible to all, promotes diversity within our community, and works on initiatives that engage underrepresented groups in our membership and volunteer base​​.

Containers for Change Fundraising

Don't let your containers go to waste - give the 10c to us!

Did you know that we are a registered cause with Containers for Change? If you are feeling generous at a refund point, please use our member number C11040663 or alternatively bring your containers to our branches and we will take them to a depot to claim the refund. We have C4C green mesh bags for you to take home and fill.
