Closure for Long Weekend

With all the talk about Public Holidays in WA - here's your reminder that the toy library will be CLOSED for the King's Birthday long weekend on Saturday 27th September. Please do not visit us as no one will be present.

Any toys out on loan will be extended to the following week.

We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing break, don't forget to play!

It's so nice to see the start of spring - our outdoor toys are itching to get out of the shed and into your homes as the weather warms up!

WE NEED YOU - to help run sessions!!

Our calendar for September, October and November are up now.

We would love if you are an Active volunteering member if you can be proactive and please nominate for your roster duties.

If we don't have enough hands on deck, unfortunately we have to close the open sessions because it's not feasible to operate as a one-man-band! Please access the Calendar by clicking the image here, and select a Member Volunteer roster which is either Blue or Grey. Rosters in Green are good to go and Red rosters mean we are overstaffed.

Our toy library relies on volunteers to be sustainable and keep our fees low!

2:00PM on Sunday 28 September 2025

You're invited! We welcome all toy library members to attend our regular committee meetings — a great opportunity to learn more about how the toy library runs, share your ideas, and get involved. Whether you're just curious or keen to lend a hand, your input is always valued. You’re welcome to join the committee at any time or simply come along to listen and connect. Together, we can make the toy library the best it can be.

Held at the Coolbellup branch, 30 Mopsa Way on Sunday afternoon 28/09/2025 - we hope to see you there!

Toy Care Tips

Our toy library is a shared treasure trove for all of us to enjoy, and we really appreciate the care families take when borrowing items.

We know life gets busy, but a little extra attention goes a long way—supervising play, checking for all pieces, keeping packaging together, and giving toys a clean (even if they look fine!) before returning them helps us keep everything in great condition.

If something goes missing or breaks, just let us know—honesty helps us stay on top of things. Thank you for helping us keep the toy library fun and complete for everyone!

Missing Pieces

It's so normal for pieces to go missing when borrowing from the toy library. We are always happy to receive a bonus piece, no matter how long it has been.

Generally, there's no problem with a toy coming back with a few pieces missing. Often we may ask you to reloan the toy, in the interest of keeping things together. Some of you may receive emails in the coming days regarding some of our long missing pieces to see if we can chase them down.

On the other hand, we often get pieces returned to us that are not part of our collection!! Do you recognise any of these bits and bobs? If a piece might be yours, it can be collected from Cooby branch.
